After shopping and reviewing products for many weeks I settled on the ZLINE Outdoor Range Hood. It appeared to have the best quality materials and components at an affordable price. I purchased the ZLINE to exhaust smoke from my built-in 32in Paradise Grill. When our home was built I had the builder stub out with a through the roof 8in duct. DIY installation took a couple of days but I was very pleased with the results. The ZLINE provided ducting, after a little modification to shorten it, connected perfectly with the existing ducting. I've used the Range Hood venting several times and it seems to pull the smoke off adequately. The vent fans are a little noisy at the highest speed but it's better than having the cooking area full of smoke. The four star rating is because of the noise. I would recommend this vent hood.

Great Hood! Quiet and really sucks!

Purchased the hood with the remote blower with dual motors. Well worth the investment since we purchased a Wolf range top that required more 1200 cfm hood. Vented out through the roof with blower in cubby hole above kitchen. Looks great and keeps the cooking odors out of the rest of the house. Pretty easy to install if you plan it out before hand.

Quiet and efficient air handler

We purchased the dual motor remote option to minimize noise at the hood yet still attain maximum CFM. I'm an audiologist and can carry on a conversation with anyone in the room, even at the 1200 CFM setting, and hear perfectly. The removable grills are easily cleaned in the dishwasher. The remote motor installation was a little tricky but my husband is an engineer and handled it well. Having the remote motor made hanging the wall hood very light and easy to install. Overall, we are very pleased with the product living up to the specs.

bought and install, a great unit. Fans provide a lot of suction and remove a great deal of heat from the grill area. Lights and speed controls are very user friendly, installation was a snap, and the charcoal filters installed very easily. Overall, a very nice product.

Could not believe it!!!

My hood arrived on schedule. The freight company off loaded a large box from the delivery vehicle and placed the box in the garage. I was ready to install, but I had to open the box for inspection. Surprise!!! I must say, I have never seen such an incredible packaging job. It must cost them a fortune! I honestly believe the box could have fallen from the truck at 60mph and the hood would have survived. Don't try it... just take my word for it. What a beauty! Installation was incredibly simple. With a touch of a button, it came to life and I couldn't believe how quiet it was even at highest setting (1200cfm). Great product! We are now considering replacing our Fisher & Paykel hood in the kitchen even though it is working.
