The hood is gorgeous. The lighting is more than adequate for the entire 48" of my range. The fan will take care of any smoke or scents in your kitchen. The air output outside is impressive. My hood was dented upon arrival, (NOT due to the shippers, it was packaged dented) It is quite high and I can't see it. It doesn't affect the performance of the hood, but for the price, I did expect perfection. Now, only one thing: It is quite loud and sometimes I refrain from using it as I cook because it's too noisy.

I bought the Professional Series Wall Range Hood (687-42) with the 1200 CFM blower setup to handle my hottest steak searing should I cook indoors. It's handled what my old 900 CFM hood couldn't. No more smoky house, no more smoke alarms. Great build quality and bang for the buck.

Great Industrial look and function!

I bought this item on 6/2016 for our newly remodeled (modern style) kitchen. It looks amazing! I do have wolf stove/oven 6 gas burner...It works great with that.
The only thing, the extension part that you attach to the roof/ceiling. Was SUPER hard to put together and it s not easy to adjust to your ceiling. But my husband make it work. He had to buy some extra things and had to cut the metal to make it work. That's the only reason I have a 4stars.

This product is industrial standard and for commercial purposes. We installed it in our kitchen. Works wonderful.
We received the package with the wires not connected. We got our contractor to do the clean the terminals and secure it with an electrical masking tape. We ended paying the contractor for this work.
Other than that we got what we wanted.

I did a lot of research and shopping before deciding to purchase the 42" Z Line hood. It is beautiful, well constructed and arrived in perfect condition. Ordering was a breeze on the website, and shipping was fast-it arrived in five days from the day I ordered it (including the weekend).
