[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great cooker. I really like the slick design and digital displace. This is my first slow cooker and I found it very easy to use. Pros: nice looking on your counter top, retractable cord, light weight, easy clean up and locking lid. So far I have found no cons. I would recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Elite Platinum 6qt. Programmable stainless steel slow cooker with locking lid for free to try and ive used it atleast twice a week since I've received it. The locking lid feature is great for when you have a family get together you have to go to and your dish needs to stay warm theres no spillage on the drive over because of the locking lid feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This exceptional new slow cooker replaced an old hand-me-down, and it is absolutely exceptional. This slow cooker is attractive enough to leave on our counter all the time, and it's lightweight enough to move easily. Besides cooking well with multiple settings, it has one convenient feature we hadn't expected: a retractable plug and cord. The cord is a simple feature that makes it easy to store whenever we don't have it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using a slow cooker, especially for meals in the winter time. This slow cooker has two features that my previous ones didn't have, a locking lid and non-stick interior. The locking lid is great for transporting the meal to a friend's house or party. The non-stick interior makes clean up so much easier. I always found it difficult to clean my previous slow cookers. My daughter also loves this item and brought it to school so she and her friends can cook meals in their off campus house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received the Elite Platinum 6 QT. Programmable Slow Cooker in the mail. I love that it has a retractable power cord underneath the slow cooker so when not in use it you can wind up the cord! The fact that it’s programmable is great! I didn’t know they made programmable slow cookers!

So much nicer than the heavy ceramic insert type!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the same slow cooker with the heavy ceramic insert for over 10yrs, so I have to admit I was a bit skeptical of this type with the nonstick metal one..2 words- GAME CHANGER!! This insert is so lightweight and easy to wash, no remnants of sauce rings or bits of stuck chicken skin- nothing! The rubber gasket keeps the lid on tight with less steam escaping so things cook evenly without drying out as fast. Love the oval shape that fits a whole chicken plus veggies, or a nice size roast plus potatoes and carrots without having to stack everything on top of each other. Having presets or just setting manually is a great addition to a normal slow cooker, along with being able to use time delay even though it will shut down to "warm" when the time is up. The functions are simple to use as described in the wonderful instruction booklet that also includes some great recipes...the dump cake was heavenly :) My only disappointment is the locking clips don't slide completely on both sides of the lid unless I push down VERY hard so the gasket compresses, no big deal though. This beautiful slow cooker will be spending her days on my counter happily awaiting her next job without the cord looking messy or getting in the way because it's retractable and stays completely hidden, BRILLIANT!
