Great for cooking large roasts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the size of this Elite Gourmet Slow Cooker. The crockpot I have is too small for cooking a roast. This 8.5 qt size is great for cooking roasts, my homemade chilli and soups! It has three heat settings, with a warm setting that's great for keeping cooked foods warm. I really like that the crock pot is removable and dishwasher safe. So much easier to clean! The tempered glass lid is nice for checking on your foods without having to lift the lid.
This is going to get a lot of use in our home!

Slow Cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of this. It let's you make a lot of food at once. It's so much bigger than what I normally use. When down I turned to warm and it stayed nice and warm for several hours. This is a must have for larger quantities

This is a great product, cooks anything you would like to put in there, it all taste great. The pot that you put meats etc in there lifts out so you can set it on the table and you get what you like taken out of there. Also that's awesome since that does come out ot will be so much better to wash it. I will recommend this product to family and friends.

Large crockpot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small crockpot and was happy to get this larger slow cooker. We wanted some beef and broccoli for dinner so I decided to try out the new slow cooker. It held a lot of food and still had room for more. The meat came out very tender as well as the vegetables. I like that one of the setting options is warm which kept the food warm until ready to serve it. There is also a high and low setting. There is no steam vent in the lid but so far that has not been an issue. Also the outside of the cooker gets very hot so I moved it from my counter and put it on my stove. It has a removable pot for easy clean up which is also dishwasher safe. We love crockpot meals because they are so easy and the large pot will make it easier to prepare larger meals. I can see this being used often in our home. I would have given this a 5 rating but gave it a 4 rating instead because of how hot the outside gets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a great size, but the cord seems to be a bit short. Seems to cook hotter than I expected to. Kind of weird to me that there is not a gasket around the rim of the lid. Plan on using this mostly for camping which may be better since the outside seems to get hot and the crockpot will cook outside while camping.

Great for one pot meals!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This crockpot is large enough to cook a one pot meal for the whole family. I made some pork stew and it was ready in the amount of time the recipe said it should be. I've had some crockpots that cooked way too slow, but this one worked as expected. I love the large capacity which will easily hold a whole chicken plus any vegetables you want to add. I also like being able to remove the crock to wash it by hand or even put it in the dishwasher. If you need a nice slow cooker, I recommend that you give this one a try.

The size is great for family meals and I'm sure it could also be used for smaller ones if necessary. I am happy with how this works and looking forward to trying more recipes with it.
