Missing pieces?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this set for my teenage son who loves video games and building sets. Although it is a game that he has not played, I thought he would enjoy the build. It is large with some unique pieces. He started out strong by putting the figures and the small ATV together . He started the turret, then the set sat on our bar for days. The unfamiliarity of the game/theme actually worked against me. When the build resumed, it went quickly until step 70. All 6 pieces of Part #AM80120AWC were missing. This is an important piece where the studs need to line up with a bigger piece, so construction was stopped again. Although no fault of the set design, it does not seem like it can continue to its final form. I think the alternate build may be a better choice for my son. The set and figures seemed sturdy with playability potential. The colors of this set look like they would fit in with other sets/different themes that my son has displayed. I think if my son was familiar with the game and if all pieces were there, I would have a completely positive review.
I would recommend this to a friend!
