I purchase a island hood a couple of months ago. It has worked well. The only issue is if there is a wind it can pull the smoke up. I think it would work better if wind was blocked by wall. My outdoor kitchen is open. Pay attention to how it mounts, my ceiling was not flat and I have beam near the where the vent hood was installed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello,
We recommend installing an outdoor and island range hood that is a size or 2 larger then the grill or stove top it is above. This helps catch the smoke more when there is wind.

Even though the Range Hood Store did not send the model pictured, I like the one I got even better! The low ceiling option is what sold me on this product.

Fast shipping, delivered quickly and undamaged. Pretty straight forward installation. I gave it 4 stars because the Stainless Steel Baffle Filters rattled and it took a very long time to minimize the noise. Finally got to a point of no rattling on high setting. Only used for a few weeks so far, however it was a very nice addition to our kitchen

A show piece in my kitchen!

We tore out old wood cabinets that were over the counter top where the range is located. Then we centered the 42" hood over the cook top. Of course by opening the kitchen up to the family room we made a spectacular change to the over all look. However, my new ZLINE exhaust hood stands out like a trophy.

Installed in our new build 1 month ago. Moves so much air a special duct was installed to supply the flow. Looks great with both the led's or the halogen lights.
