Boring

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 4.5 and 2.5 year olds girls, and neither were interested in this at all. They both are obsessed with Blues Clues but this wasn’t very interactive at all and they moved on within seconds. Disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LeapFrog Blue's Clues & You Clue Into Words is one the best teaching toys I've ever had. I have a niece with who is on the very low autism spectrum and this book is one of her favorites, and I as an uncle is very happy. Not only is she able to repeat the words clearly, but the toy is very easy to use and she has hours of fun. The touch-sensitive pages are full of fun and words for your child, and is guaranteed to make them very happy, not to mention how much they will learn. So, if you are a parent looking for educational toys that will actually teach your children while having fun, this LeapFrog® Blue's Clues & You! Clue Into Words is the one you need. Highly recommend for hours of fun and learning.

My son lost interest quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son who is 3.5 was sort of bored with this toy after about 5 minutes. We love Blues Clues and he watches it all the time on television but for some reason, he just wasn't into this toy. I think we will try and play with it a bit more, but initially he wasn't excited. The actual toy is entertaining and fun. A lot of interactive bits that I would think any kid would enjoy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Leap Frog Blues Clues and You book is so cute. The kids love to play with it. It is easy to turn on and switch to the mode you would like. The pages are easy to turn. It teaches them items and colors of things. Will help the kids learn their colors and what items are.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girl loves blues clues so she really liked this book! Her favorite is the music setting. It also has a setting were you can just tap on a picture and it says its name. Pretty good for learning! The book its pretty nice and sturdy, well made. I can see this toy lasting a long time. She has dropped it a few times and it has not broken. Also makes a good gift for a toddler in my opinion. I have no complaints!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the Blue's Clue's & You Clue Into Words Leapfrog learning book. What I liked most about this product is that it teaches your toddlers about different words. The book has 10 pages. Each are filled with numerous words your child can learn. Just hit the buttons on the pages and it will tell your child the words. It also has different settings on it for different games on it so that your child won't get bored on it with one activity. This learning book has more than that. It's a cute learning book. It's interactive and my child enjoyed that. It's very durable. It won't break if it hits the floor. Seems like it will last for a long time. Will recommend to family and friends. Thank you!

It tells them what things are when they push the buttons. It also plays music. My son loves the music the best

Not as expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been a big fan of LeapFrog toys because they always try to make educational toys for kids but Blue's Clues & You! Clue into WORDS does not educate as well as other LeapFrog toys. My 5 year old son was not interested in it at all and would not play with it.
Pros
* Sound quality is great
* Both sides of the book are touchable
* The "Words" mode is the most educational, interactive, and informative
* The right size and usability for a 3 year old, but 1 or 2 year olds could also play with it

* Two sound volumes, but not differences between them. Both are loud and the lowest setting should be lower than it is.
* Right side of the book on the bottom left does not work very well. You have to touch it multiple times and in the top center of the area for it to work. For example, you have to touch the top of the "rug" instead of the center or bottom of the "rug".
* The "Colors" and "Counting" modes are not very educational. The colors on the pages are not not bright primary colors for kids to start learning their colors. For example, the "stool" looks closer to tan or stained oak wood color, but it says it is orange. The "bed" says it is purple, but it has blue covers on the bed. I can see how this would confuse kids. The "Counting" is limited to 5. The counting should go up to 20 to be educational. Numbers are not shown either to help kids learn their numbers.
