After reading negative reviews, I was hesitant, so I spoke to several people who have this and their glowing reports convinced me to buy one for the front door and another for the side. Ring exceeds my expectations in all ways! I use the two apps ‘Ring Always Home’ and ‘Rapid Ring’ together and the performance is flawless - quick, clear and consistent! This

a little slow, but good product

The only thing I am not totally pleased about is how long it takes, when someone pushes the door bell, for the camera to show me a picture on my iphone and to allow me to activate the microphone to talk with the person at the door. Otherwise it's great.

Amazing product

I really love our doorbell, we were able to see who is in ouside and notifies us when there is someone outside im our front door, definitely will recommend this to my family and friends

No subscription No point

Got a ring doorbell and have had it since the summer. Camera works well and works well with the ring chime. Worked great initially and loved it but now that the subscription has run out app notification is useless and there's no point in having the phone app!!!!!! Will be shopping around for another option that doesn't require subscription service.

Boxing Day Let Down

Bought the product as Xmas gift. Set up went great and overall was happy with product. Went back to buy another one on Boxing Day only to find out the price was raised by $50...Boxing Day deals do not exist on video doorbells apparently.

Wifi Frequency

If you're wifi network frequency is 5 GHz and not 2.4 Ghz, don't waste your time with this product. How they haven't re-released something that works with both frequencies is mind boggling to me. This was the perfect product for me due to not having an existing wired doorbell. If I had a wired doorbell I easily would have purchased the Ring Pro doorbell or the Google Nest Hello, both of which work with both wifi frequencies and require wired connections.
This thing is going back to Best Buy faster than my credit card came out of my wallet to buy it on Boxing Day. Probably a good time for Best Buy to make that clear in your product description as well.

Quality of the product is great picture and sound are great, easy to install Unfortunately if you don’t subscribe to the monthly plan you don’t have the ability to look back or play back the incident.

First of all it's very good camera , also the ring app amazing but !!!
Its stop working at the temperature -20 , like stop working at all !!! Ring door pro the same problem .
So you you live in Vancouver no problem if you live in Alberta, Saskatchewan , Manitoba and up north , be aware it's not going to work when it's cold .
