I was extremely excited to the ring door bell. Finally, got it. Everything with the instructions seems to be very simple. Installed without the wired. The battery lasted only 9 days. Which was awful, been that I am a 67 retired teacher living alone. That is never explained in your sharped everything wonderful adds. Then I wired it. Now, my modem, etc. Is on the third floor from the door. The sound is horrible. When I turn on the camera to see who is on the front door, it takes longer to view than the actual delivery. Briefly is explained that doors, floor and a busy neighborhood may interfere with the reception. You have some work to do. The idea is brilliant.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry I didn’t buy this months ago. I feel so much safer having this and like the fact that I can talk to whoever is at the door from wherever I am I’m trying to get my neighbor to buy one. Didn’t give five stars only because of length of time it takes for the outside picture to come up. That may be my internet service
