Slashed tires

This camera was purchased to catch my stalker/vandal slashing my tires during the 5th time in 1 month. While i couldnt stop him, it did help catch him in the act. And now i find it really useful for everyday vistors. Best purchse ive ever made. Simple and easy to use.

Makes life easier

Before the ring doorbell camera we always missed people. Our office is upstairs and we would never hear knocking or the doorbell. Now we get notifications to our phones. We can also check the camera before answering to know if it is a legitimate visitor or just someone trying to sell us something.

The Ring doorbell was easy to install. We didn’t hardwire it though. The picture quality is good and picks up on motion easily. The app sometimes takes a while to load but that may be due to wireless connection. I wish it didn’t require a subscription to be able to go back and see videos. I love how this is connected to my echo dot and all Alexa products.

I totally recommend these for your doorbell as you can see who’s there instead of either picking through the hole or looking through the window or having to open your door to see who it is or what they are leaving you!

The original Ring we had for several years would no longer charge. Thought about trying to repair but for the money it was more practical to just replace it. Looked around and found I can get a newer version of the original model for way less than newer tech. I was not super happy with the original Ring because it couldn’t handle bright daylight well (too washed out) and night vision was burry. But it worked well enough that I really couldn’t justify spending a lot more money for something more modern. So I found this one. The bronze finish is a new option which I really like. Installation was easy, however I did need to switch out the wall mount plate because the doorbell attaches differently than the original. Better actually. It manages light much better, night vision is more crisp and motion zone settings are more accurate

I feel so much safer with my ring. I can check who’s at the door without having too peek outside physically! I have the solar charging one and i definitely recommend!!
