If you are in the market for a video camera consider the Ring doorbell. This is a repurchase for us. Our first one was damaged by an apparently crazy member of our society. Seeing this vandalism occur on our property reinforces the idea of a camera. We liked the service and we will continue with this product...just maybe out of reach.? Trying this again, installing now!

Working from home, the ring doorbell is a lifesaver. Let’s me keep track of who is approaching my home. Also love the fact that I can watch things when I’m traveling!

It’s ok.. records when people are facing directly and are close by.. not great for a clear and hi def video from distance ..

I would love the opportunity to work with you to ensure you are receiving the best video quality your device has to offer.
It sounds like your Ring Video Doorbell 2 is not providing optimal video quality. For the best streaming performance, we recommend 2 Mbps upload and download speeds. Poor video quality is almost always caused by some sort of wifi issue.
Our help center will give you information on how to test your video quality both near your router and outside at the installation location. This will help you identify any possible issues related to Internet speed, or wifi signal strength: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003010466-Welcome-to-Your-Ring-Video-Doorbell-2.

Great for city living

We live in the city where there is always action outside our front door, so this camera provides a peace of mind while away and at home. The app is easy to use and shows everything that’s happening outside. My one complaint is that the battery life isn’t the best - otherwise, it’s great!
