When we moved to our new home a little over a year ago, the Ring Video Doorbell was already installed. This was our first time having one of these doorbells and we quickly paired it and set up the app. I love that you can speak to the person, even when you are away from home and can easily monitor live videos. The only thing that I do not care for is the subscription service in order to store videos for viewing later. Other than that, I think it’s an easy to use product that is beneficial to anyone.

Works as well as I could hope. I like being able to connect it to my Alexa show to see my front door. Haven’t had any issues in the 2 years we’ve owned it

I have to give this 3 stars because it’s definitely good to record anyone that approaches your door but unfortunately when you want to watch live it takes forever to load to get to the live part, not only that it also glitches a little so when someone moves it looks like they froze. Pretty annoying but it still works.

I utilize my Live View so that I have peace of mind knowing I can clearly see and speak to visitors in real-time. I am eager to work with you today and provide you with a solution for your connectivity concerns.
It sounds like you are having trouble connecting to Live View and getting poor video quality when you do connect. If you can't connect to Live View, or you are experiencing poor video quality, this could be due to your wifi connection. For the best streaming performance, we recommend 2 Mbps upload and download speeds. Follow these steps to check your wifi signal strength in the Ring app:
Open your Ring app.
Tap on the three lines on the top left of the screen.
Select Devices.
Tap on the Ring device you would like to test.
Tap on the Device Health tile.
On the Device Health screen, look at your Signal Strength (under the Network section).
If your signal is poor or very poor, this can be caused by the distance between the router and your Ring device, the layout of your home, interference caused by other devices (TVs, game systems, etc.), or materials in your home such as stucco, brick, metal, large mirrors, or glass doors. Visit our support center for information on how to improve the wifi signal to your Ring device: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217271526-Understanding-RSSI-and-Wifi-Signal-Strength.

We like this doorbell except for how sensitive it it to wind. Any little thing the wind blows it sends us a signal. But it has been helpful

Clear view!!!

This is a must have. The camera takes clear videos and I like that all my alexa devices alert me when someone is at my door. It also has a really cool feature where people can actually leave a message.
