This doorbell is the best home security purchase I have ever made. When someone is walking up to my door I am alerted prior to them even ringing the door bell. The video and two way audio option has been a life saver on numerous occasions. Not being home to answer a delivery can be easily remedied by talking to the person to give clear instructions on where to leave my box. I will purchase this product again when needed.

This ring doorbell is amazing. I’m able to talk to people dropping off packages and I’m able to see when everyone in my house is getting home. I feel reassured that safety is in check. The only downside is that it picks up on any movement around the camera

For the most part, it is great to have. I find sometimes my connection to live feeds & audio are a little slow, but that probably has more to do with my location than the Ring system itself.

I have this at my house. It works really well it tells me when there is someone at the door. The only thing is it tells me when someone is at the door after they have been at the door for 10 sec.

Right now it’s not recording but I believe it’s an error with my provider. Other than that it’s awesome to see live and recordings and the app is super convenient.

When enrolled in one of our Ring Protect Plans, your doorbell should record and store videos (up to 60 days, in the US) for you to review at your leisure.
If you are experiencing a black screen when viewing live or recorded video in the Ring application, the problem may be related to settings in your router, firewall, or because of data loss. It is important to remember that the internet speed coming to your house is not the same as the wireless connection around your house, and that many factors can cause issues with wireless performance. These can be things such as obstacles in the way of the signal (big metal objects, big thick walls, double glazing, fridges, microwaves and other devices), the position of your wireless router, or interference from neighboring networks called ‘channel interference’.
The article below will provide several possible solutions that involve adjusting various router settings. Be sure you are comfortable using these features before trying any of these solutions. If you are not comfortable making these adjustments, we recommend reaching out to your internet service provider or router's manufacturer for further assistance.

I like the ring because it’s a peace of mind while you’re away from home. The price is good for one year, you get to save any videos and go back and review notifications and short videos. You can adjust how far the ring catches movement so that part can be tricky, and some times it doesn’t pick up movements that it should have. But overall I think this is a great cheap alternative for security.
