I purchased this about a month ago. It covers my front yard. The zoom is a good feature to have also. I would reccomend this for anyone that's looking for security of their house.
We purchased our Ring Doorbell 2 about two months ago and absolutely love it. It has given us a view as to what is happening on our front porch when we are not at home and also the ability to speak with people who ring our doorbell. We have been so impressed with the doorbell that we have since added the Spotlight cam and will be adding the Floodlight cam this weekend. All of the Ring products are feature rich and have provided my family and I a greater sense of security. The cost of the cloud storage is very reasonable in my opinion compared to other products we looked at. Over all we are very happy with our choice to go with the Ring product line and would recommend them to anyone.
I had heard great reviews from Ring Doorbell users, especially my brother - and when I found out that a wired doorbell was not required that sealed the deal. So far so good the doorbell is an absolute MUST if you live alone. The only issue I have is the battery life. The battery I have only last about 1 week - I then have to disconnect the battery from the doorbell (not a hard process at all)doorbell and charge the battery for 4-hours , then reconnect. I wish the battery kept it's charge longer.
I’ve had my ring device for a little over a month and I am very pleased with the service. The video is very clear and alert tones are customizable, which I really like.
Overall this is a good thing to have. I don’t like the fact that the WiFi system isn’t better and that I’m going to have to rearrange my living room and relocate my router to be closer to the Ring. I also don’t like that I bought a chime pro to help with that issue and it only helped a little. With all that being said, a little update to the WiFi handling and range , the system is actually really good and I like that there are so many options in the app to adjust the sensitivity.
