We have this plus the charger and extra battery for it. Very useful for when we are not home . Even when we are to see who is doing up at our door

Super easy to use and set up on my own. Has decent options for parameters and notifications. cheap monthly price (which you are not required to subscribe to but if you want to store video then you want it) I added the alarm, cameras etc. to the system and they too were inexpensive and easy to self set up. Only wish they had their own digital door locks.

Easy, easy, easy. The Ring video doorbell 2 is very easy to install and set up. Instructions are easy to follow and it takes very little time to adapt to the software. Share videos that your doorbell captures and see what is happening in your neighborhood. You can even share footage with the local police department and sign up for their alerts if the are part of the “Neighborhood” on Ring. Everyone should get one.

The quality is not the best, facial details are nearly imposible to see. However it has great sensors & it’s not very expensive for a budget. Start simple use ring for couple years then, you should have better idea of what your looking for in a security system. Overall it’s effective and scares off anyone.

Poor video quality can sometimes be caused by a wifi issue. We recommend running a distance test in order to discover what video resolution you are receiving at your router, compared to how it performs when mounted. For the best results, please do the following:
1. Remove your Ring doorbell from its mounting and bring it into the same room as your wifi router.
2. Be sure you've turned off your cellular data and connected to the same 2.4GHz wifi network as your Ring device.
3. Open your Ring app on your smart-phone or tablet.
4. Trigger a motion event on your Ring doorbell.
5. Examine the resulting video.
If you find that the video quality is better, then we recommend improving the wifi signal to your Ring doorbell by connecting it to a wifi extender, such as the Ring Chime Pro. However, if you find that the video is still of poor quality, then you will want to address issues with your wifi speeds.

I love this device! Live view puts my mind at ease during the day when I’m not able to be home. Having packages delivered and being able to confirm that they were in fact delivered is very reassuring. I wish there was more ways to customize the motion zones but maybe in due time they’ll add this update. I highly recommend to anyone looking to have a sense of security while away from their homes.

Love my ring Great clear picture I’m able to see who is at my door, keep an eye on the front if my house, know when anyone is near my home. Know when my kids come home ha ha I have not had an issue with it it works great
