Monthly subscription is higher than Netflix lol not needed and it’s delayed if the WiFi isn’t strong enough

At Ring, we believe it is imperative that our customers receive all pertinent information regarding additional benefits they have the option to subscribe to, such as the Ring Protect Plan. Having this information allows someone to make the best purchasing decision for their needs.
Our optional Ring Protect Plans offer additional video storage features, for those who want them, starting at $3/month (per Ring device) or $10/month for unlimited devices at one location.
We agree that connecting to video in a timely manner is essential for your home security. When attempting to connect to live video, if you get a blurry screen along with a message that the Ring app is having trouble connecting to the Ring device, this can be attributed to the wifi connection. Certain materials can reduce the range of wifi signals or even block them. Here are some examples of things that can interfere with your Ring doorbell’s signal strength:
-Heavy-duty walls and floors made of materials like concrete, brick, or metal.
-Household objects such as fish tanks, bookcases and mirrors.
-Windows made of Low-E glass also cause interference.
Additionally, competing wifi networks and other electronic devices can weaken the wifi quality. We suggest checking the Device Health section of your Ring app to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. To get the most from your Ring Doorbell 2, aim for a signal of between -40 (near perfect) and -70. The link below has some great tips for improving the signal strength.

Love the ring. The image is crisp and we love the user access that comes with the system. I feel happy that I can track the delivery of my packages and check in on my house when I’m away from home.

Great. I got it as a gift for an elderly relative and they love it. The ability to look back on who was at the doors in real time or hours ago was a great comfort. It brings such a great comfort to me and my family

Love my ring doorbell. It’s super convenient and comes in handy when I’m away from my home. The price was right but I bought in a bundle instead. The app is easy to use. Does require install but was also easy.
