I feel safe having this! My husband bought this for our home not to long! He loves anything electrical/electronic!!! My mom even likes it, she will be getting one in a few days. Picture is super clear!

A NEED NOT A WANT. After getting a Ring I feel a lot safer having visibility to things I didn’t before. It’s also like a little community on the app where you can see information on nearby crimes/activity going on in your neighborhood. (All posts and discussions are anonymous) Con: the motion notifications can get overwhelming so make sure you customize your settings

A daily used item in my home. Check to see when your kids make it home from school or see when your package arrives at your home. Two way connection allows you to cost live with someone at your door. Get a look at who is outside without having to leave the comfort of your couch.

I absolutely love this!! 100% worth it for any home. It’s super easy to install, and you get the app so you can check the camera anytime. I have anxiety so this helps me so much at night too

Sometimes the quality of the video feed and be off and it tends to not get through sometimes, but i think that was at fault of my wifi. Overall this is a great product snd bring me a sense of security at home and even while i am at work

Out of the box, your Ring Doorbell 2 is designed to keep you connected to your home in real time, no matter where you are. When using this doorbell, you should be able to rely on quality video and a timely connection, to live video anytime day or night. Poor video quality or connectivity can sometimes be caused by a wifi issue. We recommend running a distance test in order to discover what video resolution you are receiving at your router, compared to how it performs when mounted.
For the best results, please do the following:
1. Remove your Ring doorbell from its mounting and bring it into the same room as your wifi router.
2. Be sure you've turned off your cellular data and connected to the same 2.4GHz wifi network as your Ring device.
3. Open your Ring app on your smart-phone or tablet.
4. Trigger a motion event on your Ring doorbell.
5. Examine the resulting video.
If you find that the video is clear, and you are connected fast, then we recommend improving the wifi signal to your Ring doorbell by connecting it to a wifi extender, such as the Ring Chime Pro. However, if you find that the video is still of poor quality or takes too long to load, then you will want to address issues with your wifi speeds.

Our ring is fairly new because our older model burnt out. I like this system however it does not always pick up motion when I get packages dropped off but if a car goes by you’ll know in a second. The price is fair and it was pretty easy to connect.

The Ring Doorbell 2 uses Advanced Motion Detection and runs using passive infrared sensors (PIR). The system identifies visitors via a moving heat signature and sends a notification to your smart device when one is detected. You can adjust three preset motion zones and their distance. If you find that your camera is missing some motions, please set the Motion Frequency to 'Frequently'. Additionally, if you have a few stairs leading up to your front door, we would like to suggest installing a Ring Wedge Kit behind the doorbell. The kit will help achieve the proper angle, so that the doorbell detects less false motion from passing cars.
