We love our ring doorbell! We have a long driveway, so we set it out front. This allows us to let deliveries in or see who is at the gate without having to go out. It also has fun sounds, like a Turkey gobble at thanksgiving that cracked my kids up!

I love that these doorbells are a thing now honestly, but I feel like it’s a little sensitive. I get notifications of my plants moving or bugs flying into the camera. I really shouldn’t complain though because it is great overall.

I love the ring system. If you use it and its cameras, you can link the systems together. You can talk to people at the door or by the garage, which is fun when they are not expecting someone to talk to them.

The quality is kind of iffy. Sometimes it doesn’t alert me properly of people at the door and doesn’t pick up motion

The Ring app should be delivering doorbell press and motion notifications in a near instant manner.
Almost all notification delays are traced back to the internet connection in use. If you haven't already, please start by rebooting your router, as this helps clear out most delay issues.
If a router reboot doesn't resolve the issue, you'll want to test your internet upload speeds at the location of your doorbell. You can use the Device Health menu tile in the Ring app to do so. Below are two articles that go into more detail on the test, its results, and how to make wifi work for you.

To improve motion detection, we recommend switching to Advanced Motion Detection. This type of motion detection uses Customizable Motion Zones, which improve motion detection speed and accuracy. Here is an article that goes into more detail.

The idea of this product was perfect, and execution of the product was perfect as well. Only down fall is you have to pay a subscription monthly for each device if you’d like it to save the footage for use at a later time.

Love this doorbell. I love to see when my packages arrive so it’s awesome that I have this. I hate that it has to be connected to internet and that when the internet goes out there’s no way of going back to the video. However it’s good other than that and cheap in comparison to other

This amazingly doorbell is a must have. It’s so nice to see not only who’s knocking at your door but also Shows movement around your house. The camera is so clear, you can literally see what someone is wearing and clearly who they are, also the audio is bomb as well, very clear words. such a lovely creative idea for when your home and not home. You can relax knowing your family is safe with the ring.

We have this on our front door. Originally had quite a few connectivity problems and it had quite a delay to activate through the app. It takes good quality video and picks up most activity with its sensor. Sound quality is good and you can have a conversation through it easily.
