I like knowing who is coming and going at our door. The live version is too delayed. Other than that happy with it as is. It can be found in packages and is more reasonable that buying sold separate items.

I like my Ring Doorbell. My only issue is that I couldn't connect it to my existing doorbell due to placement and size of the Ring Doorbell, so I had to connect it separately which makes me have to charge it separately... the battery doesn't last longer than maybe 5 days so it is super frustrating to have to recharge at times. Also, you have to purchase a monthly/yearly plan to have better access which is annoying. However, the quality of this product is good and I like the features.

I’ve had other door bell systems & the Ring is by far the best. It’s reliable & seems to function no matter the weather conditions. I love how I can depend on it no matter what.

I have this doorbell at home and have installed it for Atleast 4 other coworkers and they love it. Being able to sync this with the other products ring has available is awesome. I know we are safe and even has an app where you can communicate with neighbors as well!

Love having the ring for safety and security reasons. I can see who is at the front door right from my phone and it makes me feel a little safer when home alone! I would highly recommend if you don’t have this product already!

This is a game changer! You can see who is at your front door and talk to them. Sometimes there are false motion at door, but it is amazing when you are out of town.

I think this is a great product have had it for a year now. Cons battery life is not as they say it is but it is good. Improvement the battery life and make the mounting part easier to do. It's affordable.

The Ring Video Doorbell 2 runs on a removable, rechargeable, quick-release battery pack (one is included in the box). The doorbell can be hardwired to an existing doorbell system or transformer for continuous charging (8-24 VAC, 40VA max, 50/60Hz).
While the battery in your Ring doorbell can go months between recharges with normal use, this is dependent on a number of factors in your home's environment, such as the local weather and the number of activities captured. The more events captured by your Ring doorbell, the more your battery is used to power the live HD video stream to your device. Even if you do not answer the call, video is still sent from your Ring product to the Ring servers. In addition, the battery is also drained each time you use the live view to look or speak through your camera.
To prevent excessive activity, you can adjust your motion settings to a lower sensitivity, disable certain zones, or change the motion frequency. Motion Frequency is a user-accessible control that allows you to adjust your motion detection protocols to provide a balance between consistent alerts and preserving battery life.
