I bought this about a month ago and love it. My sister had purchased it about a year ago. I am so sorry that it took me so long to purchase one. I have had 3 other friends to purchase the video doorbell and they love it as well.

The item does the job, but you need a subscription in order to save videos. I lived in a heavy traffic street and it was a pain to setup so it would send me notifications for every bus that drove by. I had the battery operated connection and it was a pain because the battery only lasted 4 weeks. It had issues, the one time I needed it to catch something was the one time this camera didn’t, very disappointing.

I definitely feel safer having the ring doorbell and camera. It was easy to hang and set up. You have to purchase the recording option though and not sure if it’s my wifi but I often have trouble connecting to it. Ring Video Doorbell 2

We know that every second counts when connecting to live video, as this ensures you can see and speak with visitors.
If you are experiencing delays in connecting to video, we will want to look at the connection between your wifi router and the Ring devices. The signal strength to your router is a key point for the connectivity of your Ring Doorbell 2 and Security Camera. There are three main factors that can weaken your wifi strength:
1. Physical obstructions
2. Competing wifi networks
3. Other electronics
You can check your signal strength within the Ring app in the Device Health tile. The RSSI stands for Received Signal Strength Indicator. The RSSI measurement is all the factors that are hurting your signal at the receiving point. While RSSI is measured on a scale of 0 to -99, there won't ever just be one cause that is the culprit for a low RSSI rating. To get the most from your Ring devices, aim for a signal of between -40 (near perfect) and -70. The link below will provide you some tips on how to improve the wifi strength.

I love how sensitive to motion this camera is. I live in the country & it makes my mind at ease when I leave! It captures up to 150 seconds of recording which I also love! I just wish the battery lasted a bit longer!

I love this product! Comes in handy when you have lots of packages being delivered to your house! Especially when your not home, you can just check the camera and see if it was delievered!

Me and my husband have the ring door bell and the spot light. We love ring so much. The only downside is you have to pay a monthly fee.
