Great and Necessary

The battery life for the ring camera lasts about 2 months and the installation was a little time consuming but it was worth it because I get to monitor my front door safely. Avoiding interactions that I don’t want to encounter.

I’ve had my ring doorbell for years and it’s been great. I can answer through the ring so I don’t have to open the door. We have it hardwired so the battery has lasted years. The app is easy to use and we have it set up to see out there when there is motion. You can change the doorbell and have people leave you messages when it’s not answered. We’ve caught a theft in our yard through the doorbell. It has so many great safety features. I won’t go without one now!

I love being able to see who’s at my house.. talking to them if I’m not there.. looking back on videos.. and checking the weather from bed is one that may be my favorite. Get 2 batteries though so one is always ready.

I've had my Ring Video Doorbell installed for over 3 years now, and let me tell you—it’s been more reliable than my kids remembering to take out the trash. The setup was quick and painless (no cursing required), and it’s been running like a champ ever since. Video quality is sharp enough to see the neighbor’s dog trying to leave “gifts” on my lawn, and the motion alerts let me know exactly when someone’s creeping up to the door—whether it’s a delivery guy or my teenager sneaking back in. It also gives me peace of mind when I’m away from home, and it’s great for making sure packages don’t grow legs. The app works great and gives instant notifications when someone approaches. This thing has become my favorite kind of security: silent, always on, and doesn’t eat all the snacks.

Ring doorbell camera is ok

Video quality in the daytime ia pretty good. Motion detection is ok…. I have had blink cameras before and they do a better job. Battery life is just ok…. Installation is super easy. I don’t really care for the app and the fact that it doesn’t show you if you have viewed a video or not. Blink app shows if you’ve viewed a recording and that’s really helpful if you’re searching for something.

Detects motion with rarely any issues, quality of the camera is perfect for capturing video. Installation is easy and we feel a lot safer away from home. It gives us a piece of mind.
