Have to pay subscription for recordings

I love our ring doorbell! It connects right to my phone so I get all alerts when someone is at our door, whether the doorbell has been rung or there is any motion leading up to our porch. It’s got great picture clarity and is clear but the audio is just ok, honestly it could be better and sometimes the audio cuts out so you can’t hear all being said. I like that I can replay the videos on my phone (but honestly dislike that you need to pay for a subscription to do this, it should be standard). I can even talk to whoever is at the front door without actually needing to be home. I have ours hardwired so no need to worry about charging the battery. It’s got a variety of chimes to choose from and a couple of different face plates for the doorbell itself. Overall I’m happy with it!

Amazing

The ring doorbell is amazing, it has so many features and is easily controlled via the app, it’s that easy that anyone can use it! It super easy to install and comes with security screws so that you can only remove it with a certain tool which I absolutely love! The video quality is amazing and very clear and night vision is also great, the battery lasts a long time before needing to recharge and it also doesn’t take a long time to charge up either! Audio is also very clear.

I was thinking about getting one for a long time and I’m glad I did. Video quality is great, very easy installation and then taking it off to charge at home. The only bad thing I’d say is the audio clarity, it’s not quite clear unfortunately

Love the options you have that links to your phone, I also like that you can link other cameras to it whether it’s inside or outside,

For peace of mind

I installed the Ring Doorbell 2 several years ago, and we can't live without it. We have it hardwired, so we don't have to worry about charging the battery. It's connected to our alexa devices as well as our phones, so no matter where we are, we never miss a visitor at our home. It can detect if someone is delivering a parcel, which is a cool feature. You can select which zones you want it to detect so that it doesn't pick up cars driving by and only people entering onto your property. I always have the motion detection notification on for security purposes. I have additional CCTV surrounding my house, so I use RING in conjunction with that for total peace of mind. We pay for the annual subscription, so I have access to historical videos in case I can not view live footage. The RING doorbell has occasionally not detected a person, but this is very rare.

Does the job :) great camera

Easy to set up and install, works great when your not home to speak to delivery drivers and provide an extra bit of security to the house. Clarity is excellent, even at night. Sound quality is very good and it's clear when we are talking to someone outside. The battery lasts for ages. You do need to pay money a month for the ring package to get videos to save, but pretty worth the money!

Answer the door from anywhere

The ring doorbell is fantastic product that was easy to install. Great that you can set your motion boundaries and be able to see and answer your door from anywhere. The battery life is great and doesn't take that long to charge back up either. Good that you can log on from more than one device. Added safety of being able to see and answer your door without opening it
