Easy to set up, Easy to control, Provides clear image and video

I feel safe having the Ring camera set up for my house. The security ring camera allows me get high quality, clear image and video of who is in front of our house. Quality is great even for night time. The audio is good. I truly appreciate the microphone feature where I can communicate to the guest/person rang door bell without having to be present at the house or open the door should I wish not to. The ring doorbell also offer the perfect viewing angle in my opinion. We also have Alexa so that is a plus too as Alexa can carry out some demands such as showing the front door, stop the door camera, etc". It is also a breeze to set up the security door bell as it only takes a few minutes. Overall, I would highly recommend to install security Ring door bells for everyone.

Subscription fee to see recorded videos

I didn't like that I had to pay a monthly subscription fee after the trial period to be able to see recorded videos. You have to get to the app as someone's knocking at the door if you don't have a subscription, otherwise, you won't be able to see anything, very frustrating. Video quality could be improved, can't comment on battery life as it was connected to my electric wire. Motion detection was okay. Audio could use some improvement.

I love the ring doorbell camera. It allows me to monitor who is coming and going to my home. I also can speak directly to that person even if I'm away and I get alerts directly to my phone . Feel safer having this device and would recommend

Works pretty well

So overall I do like this, but I do think there is some room for improvement, especially with the subscription price rising.
It wasn't too difficult to install and I do like that it comes with different faceplates so you can change it out to match your house.
For the most part I think the pretty clear, but I think the video playback for movements could be improved upon. It often takes several minutes to be able to view the movement footage, and when you can view it, it doesn't always include the beginning of the movement - so it will just jump to the person walking away from our door, if you try to swipe back to watch through whole thing it just jumps to the end of the movement.
For the price I think it's alright, but I'd definitely be open to trying other brands. I did try the blink and thought that was terrible and would not recommend it

Good for quiet neighborhood

Overall great for my home security. Easy set up and installation. Battery life varies based on settings. The motion detection is usually good, I've had some times where it wouldn't record. Of course times when I would have liked it to. Audio sounds great.

Love the ring doorbell! Keeps us updated on what's happening outside our house! Easy to install and great battery life! Love the clarity of audio and video! We have multiple ring products that sync up with each other for better use!

Reliable

Ring makes me feel more comfortable just knowing it's there. Even if I am not home I can see whose at the door or even in my yard. I have one on front and back door! Clarity of video is clear and reliable. I highly recommend. Even bought one for each of my four adult kids for Christmas!
