I bought this a week ago after my last Newair fridge stopped working. I have to say I am quite disappointed due to the loudness of the unit. It almost always has a very loud buzz and sounds like it is working very hard. Occasionally the sound goes away, but it is very annoying so close to the living room. Likely my last Newair purchase

We use this for our wine cellar. It was compact and useful. We had it for 11 months then the cooling system messed up. But this company' customer service sent a replacement for free. I'm thankful to get another fridge.

I could not figure out how to edit my previous review... but I wanted to say thank you to Alai Drysdale for the amazing customer support. For personal reasons, I have not been able to call, but even over email, the experience has been really good. This entire process has been a hassle with the unit being so terribly loud, and while I don't love the thought of having to pack the old unit to get a new one, but the fact that I will get a new one is good enough. Although the replacement will come without a warranty, I'm a little worried about that, actually based on some of these reviews a lot worried. I just don't have it in me to argue anymore... I'll take the unit and hope for the best. I don't know that there would have been anything more Alai could have done regarding that... which is why I still say thank you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
