Disclosure: I received this Wine Fridge for review. Prior to receiving this fridge, I already had a 28 bottle dual zone wine fridge from NewAir. I was familiar with their construction and function but there were a few things about the 16 bottle fridge that I actually prefer to the larger unit. Pros: 1. Exterior controls: I love the fact that the controls for this fridge are accessible from the outside of the unit. This is a nice improvement over my other unit, which requires opening the door to turn on the lights and adjust the temperature. 2. Maintains chill well: The fridge does a great job at keeping the temperature stable. I forget that it's there most of the time. (See the cons section for when I notice it.) 3. Actually fits 16 bottles: I have tried some fridges and found that they don't hold the number of bottles that they claim, but this unit actually fit 16 bottles. 4. Small footprint: I don't have a large office to store a fridge for the wines that I review, so it's nice that I have a reliable fridge that can fit in my office. 5. Temperature memory: I've had a few fridges that I had to reset every time there was power loss. We had a storm hit over the last few days and lost power a few times. Each time, the fridge came back on with the temperature saved. 6. Removeable shelves and secured wine basket: There are two removable shelves for this unit, which is nice in-case the bottles you are storing are a bit tall (ex: Riesling bottles). The basket on the bottom is secured to the unit, which prevents wines on the bottom from falling over when the door is opened. 7. Nice stainless steel finish: I'm a sucker for stainless steel, so it was nice to see that the finish was done well on this unit. 8. Weight: I was surprised by the weight of the fridge. I expected it to be heavier. Cons: 1. The compressor is a bit loud: When the fridge needs to adjust and the compressor kicks in, then it could be a bit loud for a small space. I had to turn it off when shooting a recent wine review because it was getting picked up on my microphone. 2. Upright storage: This is the first reason I gave this review its title. Upright placement of wine is not ideal for long-term cellaring. If you are planning on keeping the wine longer than six months, then I would recommend a unit that lets you lay the wine down on it's side. 3. No water tray/humidity control: This is the second reason for the title of this review. This unit does not have a method of controlling humidity, which could result in the corks drying out. It's not a problem unless you plan on cellaring the wine for a bit. 4. Lighting is weak: The blue LED in the unit doesn't have a high output. I don't use the lights often, so it's a minor con for me. 5. No lock on the fridge: If you are someone who wants to keep the kids (or your significant other) out of your stash, then you may need to get a different unit. 6. Controls can be insensitive: This is really nitpicking, but the controls can require some exact placement of the finger to activate. It's not a big con since I don't adjust setting often, but it's worth mentioning. Overall: I think this is a very solid fridge for short-term storage. Personally, I'm going to be using it to hold my review samples for the videos I plan on shooting. The thing that would bump the fridge to a 5/5 for me would be if the compressor was quiet enough so I didn't have to turn-off the unit when filming.

I am so impressed with the quality of the NewAir wine fridge! It's super quiet, keeps wine chilled at the perfect temps (which are adjustable) and it is the perfect size! This wine fridge can fit on countertops or placed on the floor. Removable shelves make it convenient for different sized bottles. 10/10 recommend!!
