Only thing that hasn't met my expectations is the self-cleaning function. It is the kind that uses water instead of heat and it didn't clean up all the spills as well as I'd have liked.
Pros: Convenient Features, Design, easy to use
Cons: self cleaning function not great

purchased this range about 6 months ago and had problems from day one. When you bake in the oven the knobs to control the range top get very hot.. I was not able to cook on top while i was baking unless I had gloves on. I burnt myself 2 times. I called kitchen aide 4 times to ask for new knobs and finally the 4th time they sent new ones! I replaced them and now it is fine. Thank you customer service person from my 4th call that finally believed me!!

Purchased a few weeks ago and so far so good. The larger oven door glass makes it so easy to see inside. It takes a little getting used to the convection feature, but overall we love it.

I am having fun using my new range. No more guessing on preheating .... the temp shows on the screen. The power burners make boiling water a breeze. The oven space is just perfect. I have cooked many meals for 30 people and just love the even cooking. Everything I have cooked has turned out perfectly.

Large Oven!!

I bought this in October for our remodeled kitchen. It has a large oven -- I was able to fit a 30 lb turkey plus casserole dishes on the top shelf. I love the storage drawer on the bottom for cookie sheets and the griddle. My only complaint is that the burner plates stain rather easily, so you need to be careful to clean up splatters quickly!

New Gas Range

We bought the KitchenAid Range because last year we bought a KitchenAid Refrigerator, both in stainless, and wanted to ensure the color was the same.
So far the range has worked fine with one exception.
Whan the oven is turned on the controls for the top burners get extremely hot.
I did read this in at least one of the reviews before we purchased the range but was a little dubious.
Not anymore. THEY GET HOT!
We have never experienced this condition on any range we have ever owned.
I am 77 and had a lot of different gas ranges in the past.
Just poor design!
So far the range has worked fine with one exception.

Wonderful Stove!!

We bought this stove in September but did not get it installed until the end of October because our house was not ready. My wife fell in love with the five burners. She also loves the broiler in the oven last one had the broiler underneath the oven. The control knobs are a little sensitive; they turn on with the slightest touch!! But we got use to it after a while. This stove is a dream, it is easy to clean the top grates come off completely, even the top of the burners lift off with ease. We find this stove to be everything the sale associate said it was.
