Great looking but disappointed with performance

I have had my Kitchenaid range since mid November. We chose this range since we were really tired of stainless and wanted a white range and there are very few in today's market. We have had numerous problems with the oven, it came with a broken light, the convection fan did not work and we have a gas valve that does not work properly. This has been frustrating. The stove top has worked very well and we love the combination of the burners and the grates that cover the entire surface. It is now mid January and we are still waiting for our light and the gas valve to be repaired with the 3rd service call. I can't comment on how well the oven functions since we have been unable to use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought in in black.....love it with white cabinets.....very formal look. Just like any stove use a soft abrasive to clean....I use Earthbrite or Pledge all surface cleaner....comes out spotless no streaks or scratches.....I have the microwave as well....looks great together, also has convection option....in a small kitchen, this gives you great options....also like that the broiler is not at the top.....only critique....shelves need a back lip to catch as you pull out.
Pros: easy to use, Innovative, Convenient Features, Performance

Easy to use, love the large glass. Had to get use too how quickly it heats the food on the stove. Miss the large bottom draw and the knobs can get hot from the oven, other than that I would recommend it.

Racks on top of stove are a little bit too heavy for me.
Black surface on top around burners has tiny silvery specs, I hope they don't chip over time.

The gas range heats up water quickly. The convection oven is wonderful. Cookies bake evenly and no browning. The only down side is the clicking the oven makes when it turns on.

I am very satisfied with this gas range. The only drawback is the self cleaning feature. The "aqua lift" does not work. Oven does not get hot enough to clean as good as a "conventional" self cleaning oven. The aqua lift dies not remove any dirt from the oven
