The power burners make boiling water a breeze. The oven space is just perfect. I have cooked many meals for 30 people and just love the even cooking. Everything I have cooked has turned out perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Range surface grates are heavy duty, spacing on burners could be roomier. Oven seems very accurate on temperature, we love the lower oven rack allows us to place large roasters in oven.

Not At All Impressed - Features Flashy But Designed Poorly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this oven for about 4 months now, and have had to calibrate the temperature for both upper and lower several times. I have found that the large burner is unable to boil any faster than the others at all. Though the middle griddle burner appealed to my gullible husband, we have yet to use it without food burning in spots, and it seriously restricts which cookware I can use simultaneously. Also, the cooking area is restricted due to the angle of the rear control panel and the front knob area being angled up toward the burners, which further inhibits free use of cookware. (On my old stove, sans 5th burner, with straight controls, etc., I was able to use 3 LARGE stockpots at once. Not so with this one!) I have the black version, which looks beautiful, but is somehow very hard to clean thoroughly. (Through trial & error I found soapy water best. I put teflon covers under the burners for everyday, so as to make it easier to clean and so the top will last longest.) The racks are not designed well, with no backs. The upper oven broiler is next to USELESS - it takes an eon to light, goes off by itself (Door closed), restricts what you can put in that oven (height-wise), and requires putting some bakeware off-center, which affects cooking. I have yet to have a power outage, but I live in a rural ski area, with LOTS of snow, and do experience them periodically, and have come to find that it will not be useable under those conditions. Overall, I have very little good to say, and cannot recommend this oven, Brand, or design. This is the third KitchenAid appliance I have had, (the others were a dishwasher and fridge, now replaced) and though I was impressed with the first of the two, the fridge was not great, and this stove is so over- priced and poorly designed, I will likely NEVER consider ANY again.
