Love this Oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all the features on this gas oven. I find that I use the small top oven quite a bit which saves on energy. At first, I thought that the bottom oven being so low to the ground would be an issue, however, the rack slides out very easily making it very easy to add and remove items from the oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had heard from owners of other brand double ovens of heating problems when both ovens were engaged. We have experienced none of that. The upper oven heats up quickly and is the perfect size for the majority of our baking. The lower convection/gas oven cooks evenly and has served all our large pot cooking needs. The stove top cleans up easily and provides a powerful flame if needed. We love the center grilling plate. Thanks for a great product.

Excellent Range few Flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After looking at many ranges my husband and I decided to purchase the 5 Burner Gas Freestanding double oven range in the Architect Series. Having the two ovens is very convienient however the larger oven should be on the top because of large roast or turkeys and getting to counter level is challenging at times. Over all the ovens do an excellent job at even baking and roasting: you also have the option of using convection which is another great feature. The range top is rather small if you're using larger pans. If using larger pans you will not be able to use the back burners. The oval 5th burner is nice to use for grilling sandwiches, making pancakes etc. It's also nice to use your roasting pan to make gravy because the roasting pan is also oval. Over all this range offers great features and does a nice job.

Love my new range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my new 5 burner double oven gas range. I waited a long time to purchase a double oven range and did a lot of research before choosing. The KitchenAid had the most features for the price. Since receiving my range, I've only found a few things I don't like. One is the design of the knobs. The panel where the knobs attach is angled. While it looks nice, it reduces the surface area of the stovetop. You can get 4 pots on there, but they had better not be large ones. I also had to purchase a new 2-burner grill pan because mine would not fit on the top of the range. The burners are bit too easy to turn on. If I lean over the range (not while it's on, of course) to get a pot from the cabinet above, I bump at least one of the knobs and a message begins rolling across the panel telling me to check to see if the burners are off. One other thing that might not apply to anyone else - I live in an area where the power goes out frequently. My previous gas range burners would still operate when lit with a match. Not so with the KitchenAid. No power, no gas. Those issues aside, the range works beautifully and looks just as good. The ovens bake evenly and having 2 ovens is a dream. I will never own a single oven again. The controls are easy to operate and the glass display is easy to clean. Overall, the whole unit is easy to clean for a gas range. I ordered it in white to match my other appliances. I imagine the stainless would be more difficult to clean. The extending rack in the lower oven really makes removing heavy pots easier. I worried it would be difficult as the lower oven really is quite low to the floor. I find that I use the upper oven most often since I'm usually cooking for one. But the lower oven bakes two large trays of cookies evenly with the convection turned on. I don't miss the storage drawer as much as I thought I would, and it was worth losing the drawer to gain another oven. All in all, there are a few small things I would change, but I wouldn't give up my KitchenAid range for anything. Would recommend.
Pros: Design, Performance, Convenient Features, easy to use
Cons: smaller cooking surface

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just 3 weeks in and I love this range! The convection worked great on my apple pie....Next is Thanksgiving dinner for 6....Lots of room on stove top, and I like the different sized burners for different jobs.
