I bought this 45 days ago and installed it in the main entrance and I am very annoyed because it cannot be configured to detect human movement although it has the option, but it marks you error, I contacted support and they told me that this camera detects all movements, so I had to turn off the notifications because I was receiving more than 100 every day and it was because the camera was detecting the movement of the shadows of trees and plants on the ground.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Based on the information provided, we would recommend you speak with our support team on how to adjust the PIR settings. Your camera can detect the movement of a person up to 32ft / 10m from the camera when on the highest True Detect Motion Sensitivity settings. More intense heat sources (e.g. vehicles) may detect a little further away and less intense heat sources (e.g. pets/small animals) may need to be a little closer before they are detected. The range/sensitivity of the motion sensor can be adjusted via the True Detect Motion Sensitivity settings bar in the app. If you have not already, please contact our support team for further assistance. Click on the blue box on the bottom right-hand corner to live chat with a technical support agent or contact us over the phone.

Nice features for a small camera

Been using this indoor camera for a week and it's working well. Setup was pretty straight forward although had to update the camera firmware, which required a power restart. The wide angle view is truly 180 degrees though it does provide a very fish eye view. The auto tracking (using digital zoom) is a nice feature to see more detail, and works well.
Suggest the power cord can be a bit longer given the camera can be mounted up high.
As a security camera, I was disappointed to not be able to configure the siren in the Away mode. That is, when movement is detected in Away mode, sound the Siren.
Or I'm missing something.
Overall, very stable app and hardware. Good buy!

Handy and discreet, and crystal clear!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is a lot of love about the Tracker Security Camera by Swann, and I do ultimately recommend it, but the app does have a few issues that I hope will be resolved. If you’re curious about the specifics, read on.
What do I love about it? Mostly everything physically, and too it’s capabilities. It is small, spare, without compromising its ability to take wide angle, crystal clear video. I love how it has a magnetic base, which allows you another level of creativity and obscure-ability when deciding where to place it. And the magnetic base isn’t clumsy or weak, but rather something I definitely trust to keep the Tracker if crashing into the ground. While not essential, this feature really sets the Tracker apart, and let’s me know that Swann is innovating there products.
Again, the video is very clear, and the app allows you to watch the wide view, or a closer view if there is something you’d like to zero in on, or both at the same time. And while there are different levels of sensitivity regarding motion sensing, even at the lowest setting it notices almost any movement. This could be a plus or minus, but I consider it a plus...there isn’t much chance the Tracker will miss a thing.
The app will alert you when it sees movement, and so I often turn this off when it’s a normal day at home for all the alerts I get, and instead turn it on at night or when we are away. I’d like for the app to set automatic times for the camera to use its motion sensing, so I wouldn’t have to remember to set it every night.
The app allows you to turn on an alarm (which is moderately loud, but effective), speak through the camera, and to manually record or take photographs. Too you can pan and tilt the lens, which does come in handy.
As for the app, Swann does update it quite regularly, and this is certainly commendable, and gives me hope that the app will get better, as there are some problems with it. Most notably, the app has a hard time deleting videos on the cloud. If you try to delete many at a time it tells me the operation failed. If I do one or two at a time, it appears to work, but after I’ve refreshed, the videos reappear. This is annoying, but because the videos only remain saved for a week, time will do the job for you I suppose. On this point, any recordings or photographs can be saved to your phone so they won’t be lost if there is something you want to keep for longer than a week.
Too, for the first week or two it was about a 50% chance whether I could go into the camera settings or not, half the time hanging up waiting for the camera to become available. My camera does sit very near my WiFi router, so it isn’t a matter of internet connection. That said, I have noticed this problem has mostly gone away the last week or two, so an update might’ve solved this issue for the most part.
And again, Swann isn’t sitting in their hands, but rather improving the app frequently, so it’s only a matter of time before some of these annoyances are a thing of the past.
And so I consider the Tracker a success, and I do recommend. Well done!

Amazing wide view

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this camera for the past couple of weeks and I love it. It is great for checking in on my pets when I am away and also for making sure my home is safe and secure. I still give this a 5/5 star although I wish the camera quality was better. The tracking is amazing and gives a very wide view of the room. It also has 2 way audio which I like to use to tell my dog to "get off the couch". I need to get another for the back end of my house The magnet base is great for mounting on a vertical surface for it can stand on a horizontal surface like a table.

Easy set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a doggy camera mounted on the wall in my living room so that I can check on my dogs, but it is a little outdated and the microphone on it sounds muffled and it scares my dogs. This camera is excellent. It shows the live view of my living room, and plays live sound without being glitchy or laggy. It took only a couple of minutes to set up, and the app did most of the set up for me. This camera includes features such as auto tracking, meaning it follows moving objects, and a 180 degree viewing angle. It also includes 2-way audio which is great for talking to my dogs while I'm gone, or scaring off intruders if that were to ever unfortunately happen. This camera holds a microsd card and can hold up to 128gb of video recording. The picture provided is high quality 1080p. The box included the camera with magnetic base, a micro sd card, cable and plugs, wall mount, instructions, and stickers to put on your windows letting potential intruders know that they'll be caught on surveillance if they enter your home. I love that I can simply open up an app and check out what's going on. I get nervous leaving my doggies at home if they're not feeling well or if I'm going to be gone for an extended period of time, so this lets me check in on them. I also like having a sense of security when I'm traveling. The app actually alerts me when motion is detected, so that is an excellent feature. I can see what's going on right away and start recording if I need to do so. I highly recommend this camera. It has amazing picture quality and so many great features.

We installed swann tracker camera system in our kids play room to capture key moments ,while giving space to njoy thr play time. And the other one we installed it in the living room to see what’s happening inside the home. Installing the device was very easy, 32GB SD CARD is also included in the pack. It has an ultra wide-angle lens to capture the whole room with sharp 1080p video with field of 180 viewing angle, as well as a special sensor to detect heat and motion to trigger recording and push notifications. We can See every detail 24/7 with digital zoom and night vision. The best feature which I really like is 2-way audio system. The picture quality was excellent, the LED light front of the camera informs wt is happening with the device.

Great start

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this security camera to help give my children independence while being able to keep an eye on them while in the basement. Overall the camera has a great panoramic view. It also has a tracking camera that you can move as well, but it is very challenging to have the camera move exactly where you want it to. It over compensates where you want it to go and is delayed. If this aspect would be updated and improved it would be perfect.
