The wall bracket is poor

The wall bracket is based on the camera bracket design, unfortunately the solar panel catches the wind & the bracket being made of an aluminium alloy is not robust enough. When you try to tighten the panel the alloy threads strip, a steel bracket would be much better.

Mixed feelings

The solar panel is good as I don't have to keep bringing the camera inside to charge it. The problem is the camera. If I set it to high sensitivity I get multiple false motion readings. When I set it to medium it sometimes doesn't pick anything up. I'm a bit frustrated.

A must for outdoor useage

If your gonna use your camera out doors this is a must have. Also the permanent camera mount ( not ) the mount that comes with the camera.

Solar panel stops charging

Firstly let me say that the camera quality is fantastic and works extremely well with the app recommended however for some reason my front camera of the house that has direct sunlight all day and I have checked all the connections does not continue to charge currently at the moment it is in full sun on 44% and it is using battery power there's not charging I have checked the connections I have disconnected and reconnected and it still won't charge
I would recommend this to a friend!

Did not have the extra camera mounts with them that is shown in your picture and comes in the solar packs normally.

Love the system just don't understand why Swann doesn't sell/offer/suggest WI-FI EXTENDER. The battery life is horrible as well.

Poor charge

I set up this panel facing south at angle of 52deg to suit my latitude camera fully charged after full day of direct sun camera now only 70% and today although a bit cloudy the camera is not being charge and is running on battery power
I don't think the 1amp is sufficient to maintain top up
Will monitor overcthe next if still no good will be returning as not fit for purpose there are other charges available at 5amp from swann so don't know why this incident so low rated

It's very good when the sun is out changing in 2 hours when sun in takes about 8 to 9 hours no good for winter
