This is the third winter I’ve grown the cascading petunias. I like to put them in the front of my aero gardens where they cascade downward. Then in the back I put the upward growing lettuces and herbs. Since they are in my living room, I like the combination of food and beauty.

Beautiful petunias!

These are gorgeous...different shades of pink. Now I wake up to beautiful flowers every morning. I only planted 3 in my 6 hole aerogarden. I think anymore would have been to crowded. Simple to care for and if u need any help u can join some groups on Facebook or look on line.

Slow growing petunias.

I have had all things grow in my aerogarden with no problems for 20 years. This time around I grew petunias. I started them 4 weeks ago. 3 pods. 1 pod has a sprout that is about 1/2in tall, 1 pod is just now sprouting, and the 3rd has not sprouted yet. They say they should be sprouted within 14 days, but gosh really do they grow this slowly!? I started my tomato plants a week later and they are all growing beautifully at about 4 inches tall after 3 weeks.
My question is do they really take this long or are the petunia seeds I received damaged or old?

I LOVE my garden and have used it to grow herbs, had cherry tomatoes all
December and January and am now getting the edible flowers growing and getting ready to plant them in pots for the spring. I will be growing the hanging petunia's for my outdoor hanging plants, once the edibles are rooted and growing. This is the best thing and the most fun of anything I have used. My Grandson was so impressed with mine, he asked for one for Christmas, which of course, he got one. My neighbors even stop by to see how it is growing. I have noting to say but good things abut the product and it is soooo easy to care for.

Fast growing and healthy

I planted my pods on 9/12/21. It is now 10/30/21 and I am beyond pleased with the healthy growth and beautiful flowers. I love having fresh flowers inside as we go into the winter months.

My new aerogarden came with the 6 pod cascading petunias seed pod kit. Quality control wasn't great apparently since in the 6 pods there was one golden tomato plant, 2 cascading petunias and 3 pods that had coleus and cascading petunia seeds in the same pod. Since this was my first garden, it wasn't a big deal to me because it became an adventure to see what we would end up with. If I had been particularly looking forward to all petunias, I would have been very disappointed. However, the plants germinated well and all of the plants are very healthy and they are beautiful to look at and to watch grow.
