Only one out of six sprouted. This has become the rule rather than the exception in recent years. I’m done with aerogarden after 20 years.

While I have had success with other AeroPod products, I have been disappointed by the cascading petunias. Only 3 of the 6 pods germinated, and they have been slow growing. I probably would not try these again.

Hi Jennifer, we're so sorry to hear that some of the seed pods in your Cascading Petunias Seed Pod Kit didn't germinate. We know how exciting it is to start a new garden, and it's definitely disappointing when things don't sprout as expected.
We want to make sure you have the best chance for success! There are a couple of things that can affect germination. First, make sure the light is set to the lowest setting. This gives the seeds the perfect amount of light to start growing. Water is also super important. We recommend using distilled water (a 50/50 mix with regular water) because it doesn't have any minerals that can sometimes hinder germination.
We test our seed pods for a 99% germination rate, but sometimes Mother Nature has other plans! That's why we offer pod replacements for non-germinating seeds after 21 days. If you're seeing multiple pods not germinating, it could be a sign of a larger garden issue. Don't worry, we're here to help! Just give our Consumer Services team a call at 1-937-915-2583 and we'll be happy to troubleshoot with you.
