Love this dishwasher

This dishwasher is amazing. It's so quiet and we love the way the controls are almost under the counter so the grandchildren don't play with them. The dishes are almost always totally dry after a cycle...no wiping them off before putting them away
I would recommend this to a friend!

The appearance in the front is nice. The dishwasher is functional. Con- Only the front of the dishwasher is stainless steel. The rest of the washer (back and sides) on the outside is plastic. The inside is small and has an awkward tray rack on the top that can only fit small items like knifes. Also that tray prevents putting 30oz tumbler in the top rack.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Door malfunction

The dishwasher has a problem with the door sensor. It does not recogize the door is shut most of the time. Sometimes it takes 30 tries to get it to work. You have to shut it so softly its almost impossible. Havent had time to call on warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Dishwasher

We love the zone cycle options. As a family of 2 we like to try to save energy where possible and we don't always have a full dishwasher before we need to run it. The third rack is awesome for all of those odd shaped cooking utensils that are a pain to clean by hand! Everything so far has come out sparkling clean!

This is a very nice dishwasher. Very quiet, the third rack for cutlery & such is great. I only wish it had a rinse cycle. Otherwise, love it.

Our dishwasher is less than 8 months old and has not worked good in the past 3 months and does not work at all now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dishwasher is very quiet and well insulated. The dishes come out nice and clean.
The bottle jet feature is nice as well as the adjustable top rack. There is a thin tray at the top nice for long utensils.
Two things I wish were better: 1) Drying. Dishes come out still wet even with high temp dry. 2) The wash time is very long. Some cycles are over an hour and half.

Excellent Product

Well it was worth waiting 6 months for! Had to wait due to COVID slowdowns, but this baby is worth it. I have never had a dishwasher so efficient and quiet. I washed all of my glassware and silverware as my test run, and I wasn’t disappointed- it came out sparkling. The 3rd rack and bottle washers are a game changer, the steam clean and auto sense are also a big plus. It’s beautiful to look at, works as it should and is cost effective to run - what more could you want? I highly recommend this GE dishwasher.
