Just Awful

This dishwasher doesn’t clean. Period. A family of four with two small children shouldn’t have to work this hard to clean our dishes AFTER they’ve been run through the extremely long cycles. We’ve followed the manual in terms of how to load the dishes properly and it still doesn’t work. Total junk. We had a much older dishwasher in our previous home and it worked 1000 times better than this brand new one.

Door Sensor doesnt work and dishes are dirty

Many dishes still come out dirty after washing, and the door sensor doesn't work properly. We had to duct tape a twist tie to the sensor or it constantly beeps and wont run despite the door being fully closed.

Wrong handle and stopped working after 3 cycles

The dishwasher I ordered had a different handle design then what is advertised/shown on the GE site. After waiting for service to come out, they told me they can't get the handle that is still currently shown online. I waited a long time for this dishwasher to come in so that I had the matching set to the rest of my appliances. Also, after 3 wash cycles, the dishwasher will not lock and therefore will not run. I never went from so happy to get my dishwasher after waiting so long to extremely disappointed and feel I'm stuck with something that doesn't match my other appliances and I still need to hand wash dishes till the part comes in and service can come back out.

Top Control PanelNo Ligh No Power-Just 2 years old

Dishwasher is only 2 years old and the Top Control Panel has No Lights and No Power.

OK features, little disappointed in the quality

Slate color matches our other GE appliances, but it was supposed to have a stainless tub, but it looks plastic to me. Kinda seems cheap and lower quality for a $700+ dishwasher. Little disappointed but we will see as time goes on.

Unit operates more quietly than the whirlpool unit it replaced. Until the drain pump kicks on. Don’t know if this is normal.
