This plastic cover shown broke after about 1 week. My husband bought another one and it broke when he put it on. now my dishwasher has not cover so you have to get out the cover to k ow which buttons and so not happy at all.

Installed unit with relative ease following the directions. Unit is quiet and operates perfectly and matches the other GE appliances that I already have.

Only doing this because they won't leave me alone until I do. It's a great dishwasher, can sometimes be annoying when it won't sense that the door is closed.

We seem to have problems getting the dishwasher to turn on. It always beeps at us. We have moved things around several times and after 1/2 hour or so we do get it to turn on. I love the 3rd shelf for overflow and knives. I think tell we get this issue resolved I will give 3 stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We first recommend you try pressing the "Start/Reset" pad to reset the dishwasher and waiting 2 minutes. If the problem persists, reset (reboot) the dishwasher by turning off power to the unit at the house circuit breaker or fuse box for 30 seconds. Restore power and the dishwasher should reset and function normally.
If it's still misbehaving, we recommend taking advantage of your warranty and scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. You can do so by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) or by clicking here: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
