Max Output very disapointing.

I have to admit that I´m a big goal zero fan, but the output of the 200w nomad panel never really exceeds more than 65w. Even at noon, fully in the sun and at a perfect angle I never ever saw more than 70w.
I use a YETI 1000x with the Nomad 200. Build quality, look and feel, ease of use .. everything is fine, but the output is simply too low.
Goal Zero support told me this is completely normal. Not sure about this...

Not worth the money

I bought 3 of these to go along with my Yeti 3000X (reviewed separately). They seem very well constructed, but don't seem to perform at the premium level the price tag would have you expect. I know one can never expect a full 200 watts from these panels, but I've never seen them perform better than 120 watts. I've had them for almost a year, and had them out in all types of conditions, including the most prime, full, perfectly angled, premium summer sunshine in the southern US, and still, NEVER better than 120 watts per panel. The average is closer to 60 watts per panel. They work, but are a disappointment considering the price.

Power for off grid oxygen

These are large panels and weigh about 22 lbs each. They generate about 150 w each and must be continuously repositioned to get max performance. Having said that they are a great option if there is no other source to recharge the Goal Zero battery. We use the system for my wife's oxygen machine when we are "off the grid". Nice to have that freedom!

Low Output

Always a low Output, even onder the best conditions of full sun on a cool day. Never saw over 120 watts.
Then after 3 years the panels are dead due to poor product design. The cables that connect the 4 sections of panels together pull on the soldered connectors evertime the panels are folded up. This is because they are too short and move around as a piece of 3/4" tape is expected to hold them in place.
It only took about 15 camping trips for the panels to fail.

Subpar construction

I've used this panel on a 2-3 trips a year for about 3-4 years, so maybe 10-12 times total. I could reliably expect 130-170w in full sun and liked it. On my last trip I was hardly getting anything from this panel, maybe 30-40w. After seeing the picture from the other review of the broken connector, I felt where the cables connect and noticed one wasn't flush against the edge like the others. I can confirm that a little piece of tape is all that secures the cable linking panels and when it inevitably fails, the wires shift and tug on the little copper strip which will definitely break. I was able to solder mine back together but I'm confident I will have this problem again. I will be looking for a different 200w panel to replace this one.

Solar 200 works

This product performed as expected. It did a great job charging my Yeti 1500X. You do need to pay attention to the angle of the panel relative to the position of the sun to maximize the charge. Would definitely purchase this product again.

I rated a "3" because as a result of a long delay in getting my vehicle (8mo.) I haven't been able to field test my panels. I used them briefly last summer and they worked, and were built very well
