Reliable and easy to use

After being very pleased by the performance of the 3000x that I purchased five years ago, I'm excited to add to our power supply with the 6000x. Operation appears to be identical to the smaller model, which is straight-forward and easy to use. We also like the packability of the briefcase panels. We use the batteries in two different locations, so the design makes portability fairly convenient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sometimes older technology is better.

It's old, it's heavy, it's solid as a rock. It's the most reliable Yeti we own. This was the first Yeti we acquired. It was provided to us to provide power for two CPAP units and a refrigerator during power outages. With 2000 watts of capacity and over 6000 watt hours of battery life, it really can power most of the necessities in our house - fridge, lights, CPAPs, internet, etc. (Plus the occasionally luxury such as the espresso machine.) It doesn't offer all of the bells and whistles on the app that new units provide, but unlike our newer units it remains connected to WiFi all the time. Our smaller units shut the AC outlets down if there is any type of power fluctuation, but the 6000 does not. The problem with the AC outlets shutting down is that you have to manually start them - not easy if you're not around to do it.
