The Only Way to Launch

I had miserable results with "launches" from my perforated peel. I bought the Bamboo and the turning peel and use all three to make awesome pizza as a complete beginner. I was honestly ready to give up after my first several attempts with the metal peel launch. This is the peel to lightly flour and create your pizza - then launch and repeat

works great for presentation, but not too good when placing pizza in oven, unless I use more flour. The problem is that when cooking outdoors, the humidity makes the dough stick to the wood peel. Still awesome for presentation.

This is a very heavy weight pizza peel- this is why I gave only four stars. It is heavy duty for serving and is absolutely beautiful as well as being a functional tool. The size is perfect to hold a 16 pizza.
After having used it to try and launch pizzas into my Koda, I feel it is too heavy for me - a senior woman with arthritis , to handle for launching into the oven. I do use it to serve on and it is ideal since it is the perfect size for the pizza.

Fantastic product. Makes prepping and throwing the pies super easy. Just use lots of flour and make sure the dough is loose several times before your throw. Use the œblow technique if it's stuck.

I have four of these so that I can prep, slice and display multiple pizzas efficiently. No need to wait for the baker to be done with one pizza before I or my guests can start putting together the next ones.Unbaked pizzas slide off easily and baked pizzas display beautifully. Won't dull your pizza cutter like metal pans can. I definitely recommend these. Perfect size for pizza from the Ooni pre-made dough.
