First pizza was burnt but that was part of the learning curve. Second pizza was good and by the 12th pizza that afternoon they were fantastic. Bought as a Christmas present for the family as we love doing pizza days. So much fun now with everybody coming up with different concoctions. Love it than you Ooni

Cooks great, but needs to be seasoned

I use my pen once, but after I cleaned it, it went rusty. The information said it had been seasoned, but it doesn't seem like it was. Hopefully I can work on getting it back to its original state.

I think this will be a great oven. We need to watch videos on how to better use it. My son was so excited to use it that he wanted to start right away and didn't read to carefully. We used corn meal to slide the pizza in but it burnt on the bottom. Pizza was sticking and we couldn't turn them so the first ones were burnt on one side and raw on the other. The ones we did get right were delicious! So tips, don't put too many toppings on (less is more), get the right tools for the job, turn often and read or watch videos before you start. I still don't know what to use so they slide off easy.
