This was a bit of a luxury purchase since a knife will do the job too. However, I did think I'd use it for other things too so I took the plunge and ordered it. I love it. It has a nice substantial feel to it and I enjoy the way it cleanly cuts through the dough. If you have the money it's well worth it.
