Very handy carry case

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very handy for carrying around the Ooni Frya 12 pizza oven. The removable parts of the oven slot into a separate pouch nicely and this pouch can be connected to the main cover to carry them both.

Poor fit, and terrible instructions

The instructions for this bag are extremely poor - no diagrams, but instead a few tiny (and very dark) thumbnail photographs. The instructions don’t even bother to mention that there’s a hidden tab inside the elastic that indicates the front (I found that out by watching a random YouTube video for the Karu bag).
I would personally NOT advise attaching the chimney/hopper bag as instructed, as it wobbles/slides around too much while carrying. Instead, put the bag on the other way up with the straps going over the top for a much more secure attachment.
The chimney/hopper bag is simply a bag - there are not individual compartments to keep the 2 chimney sections and hopper from scratching each other, and the bag is not wide enough to have all 3 components side by side, which is presumably why the picture on this website shows only one of the chimney sections plus hopper, which is a little dishonest. The roll top with a strap to close it feels like a lazy/messy design and the bag is very bulky on top of the carry/cover regardless. To be honest, you’re probably better off forgetting about the bag entirely and just placing the chimney and hopper inside a plastic bag inside the oven.
There seems to be another carry handle stitched directly to the side of the main cover… but there’s no explanation as to what this is for and I couldn’t work out how it could be used, so I unstitched it as it gets in the way.
The cover and bag are made of flammable material (polyester), so make sure you store well away from any flames/sparks (e.g. from a nearby barbecue)
Overall: Not worth the money. This bag doesn’t really do anything you couldn’t more easily do yourself with a strong refuse sack and some straps.
