Excellent Choice for multi-ages!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 boys are hugely into Pokémon- 13, 11 and 6, but finding a toy they will play with together is rough. This set works great with all of them! The older 2 built the sets- easy enough for them to quickly build, but still provided a bit of a challenge. The youngest has enjoyed being included in the “battles”. The set has held up to hours of play- sometimes tougher than others! The bright colors keep them engaged and it has just enough variety to also add for hours of imaginative play. Whether playing Solo or all together, this set has provided lots of playtime for my guys.

My granddaughter was having a little bit of a hard time so we did all of us. Great instructions and details. Very little pieces to put together and the end project is so worth it. Very fun and enjoyable to play and build.

Fun to build!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old was so excited to open up the box and get building. He was able to construct the characters with minimal assistance. He loves Pokémon and he really enjoyed putting together these in particular. It took him about two hours working to get them all assembled. Then he had them battle each other. Overall a super fun toy!

Fun set, but challenging to put together

He struggled with the instructions and putting it together properly though (honestly, so did his 42-year old mom). We had a few things that we missed and had to go back and fix, but now that it’s together he loves to play with it!

Fun little project

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this to review. My son is 7 years old. He and I built the figures together. The pieces are little and there were a few times he needed help understanding what to do or needed help clicking in the correct piece. My 10 year old nephew did put one together by himself. What is great about the set is it is fun to put together and then it can be played with. You build 6 figures. They are split into three teams, water, grass and fire. Your kids will know what that means. In each team there are two characters and a little "weapon" that fires a little pole that looks like the team power. My son got this about 2 weeks ago and we built it in 3 sittings. He is still playing with the figures. Cute little set.

Great Mini Pokemon Figures

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Each mini figure was easy to put together and the organization of each figure was packaged separately. Even though the package said 6+ the figures were simple enough for a twelve year old to help teach a five year old how to piece together. There were six figurines that could perform three paired battles with the launchers. The launchers were the best part to this interactive set. This kit of the trainer team challenge would well with other other challenge packs to build larger stadiums to battle in. I am happy that Mega Construx works with Pokemon. Pokemon works well for young kids, adults, boys and girls.

Lots of fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Pokémon play set for my soon to be 6 year old son. He absolutely loves it. Each figure is really cute. He’s enjoyed having battles with them and has also had just playing with the figures on their own.
I will say that putting the figures together was a challenge. While the box says 6 and up, I don’t know that a 6 year old could put the figures together without a lot of parental help. I found the directions confusing. That said, once the figures are put together the stay together.
