Needed a new case for my new phone, of course Otterbox is the first place I check. I had the Defender Series for my SE but wanted to try something less bulky and also allow me to see the beautiful mint green color of my phone while still providing protection for my investment. Aesthetic is super important to me and I really love the sleek look of the iPhone without a case, but I’m too clumsy to be trusted with a naked phone. I like this case because it’s super protective and I don’t have to worry about my phone no matter how many times I drop it as long as I’ve got the case on, but it still lets me show off the phone itself since it is translucent. Full points for protection, and the sparkles are just right. The material also makes it more grippy so it doesn’t slip out of my fingers as much. I only left of one star for two reasons. First off it does make the phone feel much thicker, almost clunky. I realize that’s because it needs to be thick for the extra protection but I do hope they’re working on technology that will offer the same protection in a slimmer case. Second, the clear case stains pretty easily. My last phone had a very similar case made by Speck that is now almost completely yellow (which didn’t matter as much to me as my phone underneath was gold, making it hardly noticeable) and I switched to Otterbox in the hopes that the case would stay truly clear for longer, especially since my new phone is white and any tint really shows. The case has already picked up a slight tint, after just a few weeks. Other than that it is a great case that serves its purpose well.

I bought this a few weeks ago, and the case came with slight scratches on the inside. I contacted Otterbox, and they immediately shipped a brand new one to me. The case looks amazing with the vibrant iPhone green color, and has been great for protecting my phone from any falls, etc. would recommend buying this case!
