The device is reasonably priced, is one of the few out there that doesn't require a hub, and is aesthetically pleasing. Some improvements would be adding energy monitoring in the app.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a pretty ok product. I am trying to convert my home to more technical friendly products and this seemed like a good fit. My current technical setup is a bit complicated due to my husband being in IT so it did not work perfectly with our setup but we are working to get it all syncing.

I have been a Wemo fan since they came out and they have been doing nothing but going up in price and down in quality. It has gotten so bad that I now refuse to buy ANYTHING Wemo. Your switches are priced just right and are 100 times more reliable than Wemo. I LOVE your dimmer switch and wish you offered the same color options for your standard switches. Keep up the great work!

I've used other brands, but what I found with ETEKCITY is that their equipment is reliable, works well with my Alexa system and when it does drop off (due to power issues, etc), it doesn't take long for it to reconnect. I've used EWELINK and they completely failed on me. Tried ETEKCITY and I'm now a loyal customer. I've put them in every light switch in my 4800 sq ft, 3 level home, and I use their plug ins for individual lights (night lights, etc.). They have my strongest recommendation as an exceptional product.
