[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a custom laptop a month ago. I feel like I got a good deal for the hardware in the machine. It playes games pretty well. I do have a few complaints, beingbthe omen 15t was built to order there was backlight bleedthrough in a few spots, you can only tell then the screen goes black. HP synaptic software doesnt allow you to use the mouse and keyboard at the same time. There is a workaroud for advanced users but simply adding an external mouse is an easy fix. The back panel I found to be very diffict to remove for hardware upgrades, I had to watch a tutorial. Overall the machine works as expected and and I am happy with my purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came clean! Super reliable and fun laptop. Battery life rocks, graphics and reload on the screen are awesome. Does get a little warm during gaming but a laptop fan takes care of that. Also, comes with lots of bloatware but I reinstalled windows 10 and it’s perfect. Thanks!
The base omen came with a 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD. When I upgraded I expected it to come with a 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD. Instead they stuck a 512 SSD into the Hard drive bay. I had wanted to install a 1TB SATA drive for storage. That is now out the window and it deprives me of storing my pictures and videos. As of now I will continue to use my old slow Pavilion. I am including a picture of what I thought I was getting, not the brand but the type.
