I’ve had this computer for a few weeks and I love it. I love that there’s a kill switch for the webcam (something I always kept covered when not in use on my previous computer). The processor is great as far as I can tell. My only complaint is that there is no warranty offered that covers this model
Coil whine and the keyboard light piping is not a solid glow, so you see a bunch of little dots underneath all of the letters. You have to look at a certain angle to avoid seeing this while typing. It is pretty annoying.
Really disappointed with this, overheats every night with processor running but screen sleeping. Wont wake up needing a reboot to get the fan running. Plenty of ventilation, but hot enough to burn skin, or the house down.
Been using the device for a couple of weeks now and there is good and bad. Neither good nor bad is the price of this device fell mostly inline with other comparable devices not purchased off of bargain sites. Good- The device is very fast with the AMD Ryzen 7. New out of the box it can definitely handle running several pieces of software without issue. We will see what happens as the laptop ages. The keyboard has 2 levels of lighting. I have not explored where this might be of use but nice to have the option. The fit and finish is nice overall but has some short falls. The laptop has a nice slime design but is heavier than one would expect. Bad- The screen wobbles back and forth with any movement of the device. Typing this review my screen is bobbing. If the table or work area where the laptop sits is bumped or jostled it will definitely move. This could get annoying for sure. The glare on the screen is almost unusable by a window with even moderate light coming in. I do not think I will even venture outside to test. I will have to continue to use this device longer to give an accurate evaluation of the overall functionality and reliability. Such as does the battery last while working or watching videos. I do believe I will be happy with my purchase.
