[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my HP Omen laptop 2-3 months ago and it works great. I have had relatively few problems with it so far and it runs pretty much any game I have wanted to play. Very briefly on the problems I have had. This laptop does have a slight overheating issue when playing higher end games. It usually runs in the 70s and 80s, but does get up to the high 80s, low 90s when playing particularly taxing games. I remedied this by using throttlestop to turn off turboboosting and have seen very little drop in performance and much better temps. The other problem I had was an issue with the SD card reader drive causing a bluescreen error and restart, even when the SD card is not in use. I haven't figured out a permanent solution for this one, but it seems to resolve when I don't have an SD card in the the reader.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had no idea what kind of PC was used for "gaming." I thought they were going to be really expensive, but my friend turned me onto this HP. It's amazing. It's super fast and the graphics are out of control good. So glad I got advice on the best gaming PC on the market.
