I bought this laptop almost a month ago and was impressed by the design of the device. It is not as big but not too small and it packs some weight to it. There is no CD drive which I forgot to add I guess. I love the soft keyboard and the lightening. The battery is shorter than what I had expected. All in all I am happy with my purchase. It serves its purpose as a mainstream gaming pc that was great for my budget.
I bought this two months ago and I love it. Definitely recommend the 144hz, screen looks amazing. However you leave fingerprints on the laptop. The 4 zone lighting is incredible. The cooling system makes a lot of noise but it’s not too bad.
This OMEN was a replacement for a previously returned one that had hardware issues that I had ordered back in March. The new one arrived last week (Aug. 2020) and, when I went to turn it on, it didn't have its Operating System installed. As soon as I receive my return shipping label, it will be off and I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Strangely, my HP Omen has already frozen once after about two weeks of use (despite that few apps were open at the time). However, it is extremely fast, has great graphics and has an extremely high download speed. After having owned an HP Envy for several years, I bought this computer as a gaming computer and as one that I could reliably use from home for online work. I am not upset with it's performance at all.
I've had it a couple weeks and just finished getting everything moved over and moving it in as my main computer. Love the speed and display. It's been a great system so far with hopefully years of use to come.
Took a month to arrive to my door, I get it COVID slowed everything down, but then I opened it and the screen was flickering. Apparently the motherboard needs to be replaced, which is not something I want from a brand new laptop. Also took weeks to get any kind of resolution on the product being fixed. I purchased this in June, got it mid-August, and still haven't gotten to utilize it as of Sept. 1. Hopefully I can update my review to be more positive when I actually have the laptop to use.
The laptop is good but the only thing hp needs to work on is the battery life because it barely get me through all the things I do, I would say it lasts maybe 4-5 hours
