Extremely high build quality - the weight was a surprise as I'm used to laptops that aren't made with higher end chassis'. Screen quality is amazing, videos and text literally pop. Audio quality is theater-esque, especially with the dts:x enabled through DTS Sound Unbound. I've always loved HP's sound options, but this one is a step above just Bang & Olufsen.
Keyboard has a very nice tactile feel to it. Not mechanical, obviously, but the keys actually feel like you're typing on a very high end keyboard. Speaking of the keyboard, the ability to change to really any of 16.8 million colors for the backlight for 4 different zones? Amazing.

Received Omen Tuesday; loaded files, etc...; did some gaming; had computer plugged in (icon showed it was plugged in); unknown to me, computer wasn’t accepting any power from power cord (power cord was functioning correctly); by the time I realized there was a problem, there was no time to troubleshoot; now, I’m forced to repair it because I don’t want the hard drive with my files at some computer recycling center.

I bought my Omen 15 recently and love it. Stylish-yet-solid body, good temp control, 4k screen is remarkably sharp with a wide range of adjustments, this is the computer I’ve been looking for. The ssd hd starts it up and shuts it down quickly and the company (HP) provides impressive support, both on-line and on-board. After years of enjoying HP printer quality, I studied the market of game machines and computer specs and sprang for it. No regrets!!

Two days after I got my HP Omen I noticed that it was getting very hot from running one game. The temp was at around 83 C. So I didn't think much of it. But soon after, it kept continually shutting off and I assume it was from it getting so hot. Very disappointed.
